Have you ever met someone you instantly liked, or at other times, someone who you knew immediately that you did not want to be friends with, although you did not know why? Now, a new study suggests that there may be a biological basis behind this instantaneous compatibility reaction. A team of researchers showed that variations of an enzyme found in a part of the brain that regulates mood and motivation seems to control which mice want to socially interact with other mice -- with the genetically similar mice preferring each other. In an automated world we try to find our way.
In a deterministic universe we strive to discover our free will.
And our greatest achievement is the creation of... programmable robots. And artificial intelligence determined by rules engraved in stone.
Look at us. Trying to disprove our self.
Programmed by the world to question everything. Ending up questioning nothing. Destined to be gods. Deciding to be humans instead. Controlled by our self. Seeing what can be seen. Reaching what can be reached. Thinking of what can be thought. All controlled by genetics.
But who made you think? What made you see?
Is there a reason to seek what you feel?
That is the one thing we could never really admit. In a predictable world, following the river down the sea is the most revolutionary act God can ever see!
